Hey {{first_name}},

I got a comment from a realtor last week that caught me off guard.

We were talking about lender outreach and I joked: "I bet you get a lot of calls from lenders."

She laughed. Then said something I didn't expect.

"Honestly? Nobody really calls anymore."

She said most lenders do some version of the same thing now. They find you on Instagram. Like your posts. Send a DM. Or an email that clearly came from ChatGPT.

No phone call. No real conversation.

And then it hit me.

You're probably doing the same thing to your sphere.

Posting on social media and hoping past clients remember you. Sending automated check-in emails nobody asked for. Waiting for referrals from people you haven't actually spoken to in months.

It's not just lenders. Nobody's calling anybody anymore.

One thing worth remembering

None of the partnerships I have started with a perfectly written message.

They started with a conversation.

Your past clients aren't ignoring you. They're just working with whoever called them last.

A call worth making this week

Pick three people from your database you haven't spoken to in a while. Call them. You don't need a reason.

"I was thinking about you" is enough.
